I’m the voice behind Travel Smart Europe.
I’m a Swedish woman in my 50s, a mother, and a grandmother, who decided one day to start living life a little differently. Instead of waiting for 'someday' to happen, I took the leap and created a life centered around travel and exploring the hidden gems of Europe.
For the past eight years, I’ve lived a bit of a nomadic life, moving across the continent while working as a customer service advisor. In 2019, my journey led me to Spain, and I’ve been with the same company since November of that year. Working remotely has been the ultimate game-changer—it’s given me the freedom to call Europe my office.
Today, I can truly say I’m living my best life. Whether I’m discovering a quiet coastal village or soaking up a new culture, I’m living proof that it’s never too late to turn the page and start your most exciting chapter yet.
